Biological procedures in oral surgery
We are proud to say that our clinic uses the most modern equipment and advanced regenerative technologies based on biological principles.
One of them involves using the regenerative potential of the patient's own tooth, which is extracted and used for bone regeneration.
The second method uses the regenerative potential of the patient's own blood in healing.
We achieve superior healing and postoperative comfort through minimally traumatic piezoelectric surgery and ozone therapy.
The methods we use:
DENTIN GRAFT
This revolutionary method allows us to grind the extracted tooth into a fine-grained powder, chemically process it, and use it for augmentation of bone defects, either at the site of the extracted tooth or elsewhere.
Dentin is very similar in composition to bone tissue, is of autologous origin, and is therefore an ideal material for bone regeneration.
Dental grafting has many advantages over all other bone regeneration materials:
• there is no graft rejection
• healing is accelerated and predictable
• long-term graft stability is ensured
• it is stronger than natural bone
When do we use this method?
Ideally, we would use this procedure whenever we extract a tooth to prevent the loss of bone that occurs later during healing of the alveolar bone.
The exception is the extraction of endodontically treated teeth that are not suitable for this method.
Procedure
The extracted tooth needs to be cleaned of periodontal ligament, dried, and processed with Smart Dentin Grind. We can only use teeth that are not endodontically filled.
Also, before grinding, the filling in the tooth needs to be removed. The resulting powder is processed and sterilized with Dentim Cleanser and PBS solution. After that, the preparation is ready for use. It can also be combined with other regenerative materials and PRGF technology from plasma.
PRGF TECHNOLOGY
PRGF-ENDORET® (plasma rich in growth factors) is the most advanced system for obtaining plasma rich in growth factors.
The goal of the treatment is to isolate plasma rich in growth factors, stem cells, and fibrin material. The resulting preparation is used in the healing and regeneration processes of various tissues.
When do we use this method?
This is a 100% biological method, biocompatible technology that is applied in different areas such as sports medicine for treating injuries, orthopaedics, ulcer and burn therapy, ophthalmology, maxillofacial surgery, aesthetic and dental medicine.
Procedure
Plasma is obtained by extracting venous blood. Plasma, the liquid part of blood, is separated from the cellular component, red blood cells, leukocytes and other blood cells, by centrifugation. The isolated plasma has a pronounced effect on cell migration, growth and morphogenesis. At the site of application, a fibrin matrix is formed, with accelerated proliferation of new blood vessels and increased cell migration. The entire procedure reduces pain and inflammation.
PRGF ENDORET® therapy has found wide application in implantology and oral surgery.
Practically any procedure that requires healing can benefit from this technology. From the simplest tooth extraction, alveotomy, implant insertion to more extensive procedures such as sinus-lift or cystectomy.
By using these technologies, our procedures become predictably more successful, healing is accelerated, and recovery for the patient is easier, shorter and less painful.
OZONOTHERAPY IN ORAL SURGERY
Ozone therapy has long been known and scientifically supported, and in recent times it has become a more popular method. High-frequency current in the device generator separates the oxygen molecule which joins with another oxygen molecule to form active oxygen - O3. Active oxygen, ozone, is a known disinfectant, but it also has other effects:
• eliminates bacteria, fungi, viruses
• improves blood flow
• activates the immune response
• activates growth factors and speeds up healing

PIEZOSURGERY
In all demanding situations, we use piezo surgery in our work.
Piezo surgery represents the pinnacle of technology in oral surgery and implantology. It is a new and modern technique that uses a piezoelectric device for processing bone tissue. The piezoelectric device is characterized by ultrasonic vibrations of 25-29 kHz, amplitudes of 60-210 micrometres, and power of up to 50W. This mode of operation enables selective cutting of only hard bone tissue, while reducing the possibility of injuring soft neurovascular structures. With this modern surgical method, we can approach critical regions minimally invasively, with the least possible trauma.
We use the Piezomed W&H device for expanding the bone crest, sinus lifts, complicated extractions, implant explantation, taking bone blocks, and osteoplasty in periodontal treatment. All procedures can be performed precisely and safely, which provides excellent clinical and biological results.
